Day 1: Coeur d’Alene
Depart UK and with an easy connection you will arrive into Spokane, Washington State.
Pick up car and drive to Coeur D’Alene.
One night Coeur D’Alene

Day 2: Lewiston
The drive will take you through North Idaho – a gold strike in 1860 brought prospectors to this area and you see Idaho’s first courthouse, The Bradbury Logging Museum and the Clearwater National Forest. Lewiston was briefly the capital of the state of Idaho and the nearby town of Moscow is still the home of the State’s university and a real College town. Explore Hells Gate, just four miles south and the gateway to the Hells Canyon Recreation Area, the deepest canyon in North America. Jet boats depart from the Park – a popular way of seeing the beautiful scenery. Looking down on the canyon you will see the mighty Seven Devils Mountains; an awe-inspiring range 1½ miles above the river.
Three nights Lewiston

Day 5: Missoula
An easy drive through the Clearwater National Forest will take you to Missoula in the state of Montana. The area is a dramatic mix of mountains and water and home to American native tribes, the Blackfeet and Salish, making the area rich both in culture and scenery.
One night Missoula

Day 6: Salmon River
Drive south through the Lolo National Forest and south to the town of Salmon in Idaho taking time to stop off at the river and enjoy the scenery.
One night Salmon

Day 7: Sun Valley
Drive south through the Sawtooth National Forest where there are endless streams and over three hundred alpine lakes such as Redfish or Stanley Lake. The little town of Ketchum boasts of over 60 fine restaurants and the nearby countryside makes this a real vacation area. In the winter skiing, ice skating and snow boarding are the order of the day.
Two nights Sun Valley

Day 9: Yellowstone
Drive to Craters of the Moon National Monument, a stunning landscape of volcanic features and the largest lava field in the USA. Yellowstone National Park, the first in the world and set in 2.2 million acres is home to bison, wolves, elk, moose and birdlife. There are 10,000 thermal features, and endless lush forests and spectacular blue lakes, and the world-famous “Old Faithful” erupts around every 92 minutes.
Two nights Yellowstone

Day 11: Cody
Depart through the Eastern Entrance of the Park to the little town of Cody – a stunning drive. Home to Buffalo Bill, no visit to Cody is complete without a tour of the famous museum; rich in American history and beautiful paintings. In the evening take a drive to the edge of town and watch a rodeo.
One night Cody

Day 12: Helena
Drive North to Helena. Take the train ride to the Last Chance Gulch or a boat ride to “The Gates of The Mountains”.
One night Helena

Day 13: Ranch stay
A short stay on a ranch is highly recommended at some point on this itinerary: we have included three nights here, we will help you select the perfect ranch to suit you; whether you want the full cowboy experience or simply to relax in beautiful surroundings.
Three nights

Day 16: Glacier National Park
A scenic drive will take you to Glacier National Park – a million acres and pristine back-country filled with pine forests, aquamarine lakes and stunning glaciers. The single biggest attraction is aptly named the Going-to-the-Sun-Road, a 52 mile stretch of engineering that reaches the apex of the Continental Divide at Logan Pass.
Two nights Glacier National Park

Day 18: Sandpoint
A short drive into the northern part of State of Idaho to Sandpoint on the shore of Pend Oreille Lake, a pretty little town with many art galleries and boutique shops, just right for those last minute gifts.
