Known as the Adventure Capital, Queenstown won’t disappoint.  There are so many ways to get the adrenalin pumping at any time of year, and in some cases, the more extreme the better!  But don’t be fooled, if pumping adrenalin is not for you, simply relax and enjoy the views across Lake Wakatipu, the distant Remarkables range, rose tinted by the setting sun. Queenstown is a highly developed resort town, catering for all needs and tastes; extreme sports, fine dining, designer shopping, it’s all here.   Summertime, and the surrounding mountains are bronzed by the hot sun, in the winter, take your pick from several ski fields.  This is the awe-inspiring heart of the Southern Alps.
