Canada Rail Adventures
Canada is home of several spectacular rail journey’s which can easily be combined with a self-drive or escorted holiday. Rocky Mountaineer is almost a household name, but don’t forget the famous ‘Canadian’ trans-Canada coastroute, or the lesser-known Skeena – a wonderful way to see Canada from a different angle – letting the train take the strain. Rail also offers a good way to get around Eastern Canada with excellent rail connections between the major cities.
Experience the ingenious Spiral Tunnels – inspired by the dangerous gradients of the Rocky Mountains – the railway’s played a major role in the pioneering exploration of Western Canada, and not so very long ago……………….
