Beautiful one day, perfect the next – a cliché, but one that is absolutely true. Cairns and Brisbane are the two major gateway cities to this state – fly into one and out of the other, travelling in between by car, motorhome or camper, rail or bus. Visit the paradise islands that dot the ocean, or cruise at least part of the 1200 miles that make up the Great Barrier Reef on a day or multiple night trip. With year round sunshine, Queensland has it all and makes a very viable alternative to our traditional summer destinations!!
