Australian Capital Territory
Only in Australia could you find a dedicated State as home for the Nations Capital, and only in Australia could it have been diplomatically decided that this was the right location. The majority of Australia’s cities hug the coast, Canberra is inland. The carefully laid out city was planned to perfection, and has all the right credentials – Parliament Buildings (open to the public), a good selection of museums, leafy parks and cycle tracks – in fact every good reason to include a visit on your trip to Australia.
